Oliver Laasch has been focusing on responsible management education, research, and publishing for over ten years.
He served as coordinator of the PRME executive education working group 2009/2010, founded the independent Center for Responsible Management Education in 2012, and published the first official PRME textbook Principles of Responsible Management (Cengage, 2015), which has been translated to Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese. Oliver has served as co-editor for two of the PRME inspirational guides, and as handling editor for 28 books published between 2013 and 2018 in the UN PRME book collection with Business Expert Press. He still serves as part of the editorial team of the Greenleaf/ Routledge PRME book collection.
Oliver lead-produced the Coursera MOOC “Managing Responsibly” in 2016. He has been lead-organizer of the annual Responsible Management Education in Action professional development workshop at the Academy of Management (AOM) meetings since 2013. He was invited in 2018 to deliver the inaugural presentation on responsible management learning and education for AOM’s Management Education and Development (MED) webinar series.
He currently coedits the SAGE Handbook on Responsible Management Learning and Education and the Edward Elgar Research Handbook of Responsible Management. Oliver has written related book reviews for Academy of Management Learning and Education, and the Journal of Sustainable Mobility, and edited special issues on responsible management learning and education for the Journal of Management Education and Journal of Business Ethics.
