Special Issue CfP for the Journal of Management Education
The Journal of Management Education has issued a call for a special issue on ‘New Approaches to Introduction to Management Courses’ co-edited by Elizabeth Christopher, Oliver Laasch and Joe Roberts.
The call is grounded in the central role of such courses in creating an appreciation of good (or bad) managerial behaviour early on in business school curricula. One main content area encourages papers related to responsible management education, including topics related to business sustainability, responsibility and ethics in the context of introduction to management courses:
“What non-mainstream ‘management as unusual’ contents are or should be covered? How have initiatives such as the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education impacted introductory management course curricula?”
Also contributions related to didactics and competences for responsible management education are encouraged. The full call can be retrieved here.
